’12 Years A Slave’ Producer a Camp Winadu alumnus

Film producer Jeremy Kleiner was one of seven producers involved in bringing 12 Years A Slave to the screen who celebrated an Oscar win on a big Sunday night for the film, which was awarded three Academy Awards for Best Picture, Best Supporting Actress and Best Adapted Screenplay.

Kleiner’s old friends at Camp Winadu in Massachusetts were celebrating with him. The camp he attended as a kid even dug up a photo of him from his days as a camper in “The Hive” and shared it on their Facebook page.
