English actor Jason Isaacs, who stars in the NBC miniseries Rosemary’s Baby, talked about his history with horror movies and his time as a summer camp counselor in a recent interview.
In the interview with Daily Actor, Isaacs reveals that he and a friend once sneaked out of the camp where he was working as a counselor to see Friday the 13th III in 3D.
“We drove into town,” he said. “We saw Friday the Thirteenth in 3D. And I was 19 and it was, you know, we were both – certainly he was much more macho than me…And we sneaked back through the forest holding hands I remember (unintelligible). We didn’t even part until we got to our bunks. So I’ve always been scared of them.”
The camp in question was a Jewish camp in Milford, Pa., operated by New Jersey Y Camps.
