The Goldbergs creator Adam F. Goldberg has been attracting a lot of attention on Twitter lately for his commentary on a fictional president, but he’s also recently been calling out his mom and other moms from the ’80s for using summer camp as cover to sell off their kids’ toys in a garage sale.
Beverly Goldberg, who is also quite active on Twitter, admitted as much in a reply.
The fictional Adam gave away a bunch of his toys to impress a girl in Season 1 of the show, but now that he’s in high school is probably too old for the storyline to make it into a future episode of the ABC comedy based on his life.
Crazy day on twitter. This horrifying fact came to light. Moms of the 80s sent us to summer camp so they could sell our priceless toys. WTF. https://t.co/fOYNMuope6

Why do you think most garage sales r in the summer? We stand at the camp bus wave goodbye then go to buy garage sale signs
