Camp Lakebottom to debut July 4 in Canada, July 13 in U.S.

New Teletoon cartoon Camp Lakebottom will make its grand entrance on the Canadian cartoon channel on July 4 and roll out for audiences in the U.S. on Disney XD on July 13.

From Teletoon:

The Camp Director is a monster, the lake is called Ickygloomy and the oatmeal has a life of its own. But in the eyes of a kid, Camp Lakebottom is the best camp ever! TELETOON is proud to present the world broadcast premiere of its latest original series, Camp Lakebottom, on Thursday, July 4 at 6:30 p.m. ET/PT, during the Can’t Miss Thursdays programming block.

Camp Lakebottom recounts the adventures of 12-year-old prankster McGee and his summer at the most dangerous – and exciting – summer camp in the world. The cabins are run down, the lake is toxic, the forest creatures are mutants and the counsellors are a real creep show, but McGee and his pals, Gretchen and Squirt, are having the time of their lives. The only thing they could do without is that snooty kid, Buttsquat, from the squeaky clean rival camp across the lake.

From Disney:

Beginning Saturday, July 13, the Randomation Animation programming block (8:30-11 a.m.) launches featuring the series premieres of “Packages from Planet X” and “Camp Lakebottom,” new episodes of “Max Steel” and “Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja,” and “Phineas and Ferb Musical Cliptastic Countdown Hosted by Kelly Osbourne”
