‘Camp’ to debut on NBC on July 10

NBC’s hour-long summer family camp dramedy will make its debut on July 10 at 10 p.m., according to reports that also alluded to what could be a name change for the fictional camp setting.

Reports, like this one in Variety, mention the name of the fictional summer camp as Little Otter Family Camp instead of the previously reported Little Hawk Family Camp. A rival camp, known as Camp Ridgefield, will also play a part in the 10-episode series.

The show from Liz Heldens (“Friday Night Lights”) and Peter Elkoff (“Gossip Girl”) is currently being filmed in New South Wales, Australia, and will star Australian actors Rachel Griffiths, Tom Green, Tim Pocock and Rodger Corser.
