Duck Dynasty’s Korie Robertson had a fan club at camp

It’s been well documented that Korie Robertson met her husband Willie Robertson at summer camp, but it turns out the Duck Dynasty star also had her own fan club when she was at camp.

The fan club was apparently started by camp director Howard Karbo as a way to bring the shy Korie Howard out of her shell.

“This fan club didn’t exactly do anything, and I think there were about two members,” she wrote in the 2014 book The Duck Commander Family: How Faith, Family, and Ducks Built a Dynasty. “While I was a little embarrassed by the attention, what girl wouldn’t be flattered to have her own fan club?”

Korie was already well-connected at the Camp Ch-Yo-Ca (short for Christian Youth Camp). Her grandparents helped start the Louisiana summer camp in 1967, and her parents, John and Chrys Howard, also met there.

The reality star has an official fan club on Facebook with 119,949 likes.
