Fame hasn’t stopped ‘Stranger Things’ star from going to his summer camp

When Stranger Things became a Netflix phenomenon last summer, actor Noah Schnapp was away at Camp Echo Lake in New York so it took a while for the reality of the show’s massive popularity to set in.

When the news did reach him, Noah shot a short video proudly showing off his came to thank fans for the support and interest in him even though his character, Will Byers, spent most of the season off camera in the Upside Down.

Even though Schnapp came home from summer camp a celebrity, he apparently didn’t change too many things in his life.

“I also go to regular school and to the same summer camp I’ve been going to since I was 7,” he was quoted saying in a People article. It’s like I have two lives. It’s fun!”

The second season of the Netflix series, which features a lot more Will Byers, debuted on Netflix early this morning, but you probably already knew that.
