Famous Alumni: Jonathan Tucker, actor

Actor Jonathan Tucker isn’t running for elected office as he was last election season as city council hopeful Bob Little on NBC’s Parenthood, but the coming election had me thinking about his character who ends up falling for his 19-year-old staffer Amber. Tucker is known for far more than playing a political candidate on television, appearing when he was just 14 in the Barry Levinson movie Sleepers and starring in films like The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2003 remake, The Ruins and television’s The Black Donnelleys.

But before he was a recognizable face with an IMDB profile, Tucker was a camper at YMCA Camp Chingachgook on Lake George in Pilot Knob, New York, according to his Wikipedia profile. The 30-year-old Boston, Mass., native attended the camp in the Adirondacks in the 1990s.
