Fan creates prequel trailer for ‘1.21 Gigawatts’ with footage from ‘Camp Nowhere’

A fan named Tyler Hopkins edited footage from Camp Nowhere and several other films to create a trailer for a Back to the Future prequel that examines the back story of Doc Brown’s involvement with a Libyan terrorist group.

Christopher Lloyd, who played Brown in the Back to the Future films, played Dennis Ven Welker, the disgraced former drama teacher Mud (Jonathan Jackson) and his friends convince to help them create their own supervision-free summer camp in the 1994 movie Camp Nowhere.

Footage from the film is used along with clips from Back to the Future, My Favorite Martian, Things to Do in Denver When You’re Dead, Dennis the Menace, Zero Dark Thirty, Argo, The Sum of All Fears, Syriana, Iron Man, Dazed and Confused and Munich.

You can see the trailer for 1.21 Gigawatts below or on Vimeo.
