Rock Creek Camp is the name of the fictional summer camp the Gaffneys (played by Zach Galifianakis and Isla Fisher) send their kids to at the beginning of the 2016 movie Keeping Up with the Joneses.
Early in the film, we see this ordinary suburban couple dropping their kids off at the camp bus, which is labeled Rock Creek Camp, and while there is a reference made to Parents Day the camp itself is never actually shown. Instead, while the kids are away at camp, mom and dad find themselves stumbling into a world of danger when their suspicions of their new neighbors (played by Jon Hamm and Gal Gadot) lead them to discover that they are not quite who they claim to be.
One of the few interactions the couple has with their kids is when Karen Gaffney is talking on her cell phone to one of their children at camp as they are in a high speed car chase and the back window of the car is being shot out. It adds a whole twist to that tabloid story last summer about the ways parents let loose when their kids are away at summer camp.
The only other reference to the camp comes via a t-shirt, which Jeff Gaffney wears at one point in the film. Sadly, we don’t get to see Jon Hamm at Parents Day re-enacting some of his moves from Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp.
