First Full Trailer For ‘Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp’ Released

Newcomers Jon Hamm, Kristen Wiig, Jason Schwartzman and the 15 years older stars of the original Wet Hot American Summer movie all show up in the first full trailer for Netflix’s First Day of Camp prequel series.

The trailer, which follows a teaser video and a retro tape-warped Camp Firewood promo is the first real look at the eight-episode series that takes place on the first day of camp in 1981.

Jon Hamm’s spy character shows up in full army fatigues throwing a knife, Paul Rudd makes a grand week-late appearance on his motorcycle, Kristen Wiig’s Camp Tiger Claw counselor character delivers ham-fisted innuendo, Amy Poehler’s character drops the F word, Bradley Cooper and Michael Ian Black’s characters flirt and more in this fun, albeit raunchy and NSFW preview of the series that drops on Netflix July 31.

A poster for the series was also released.
