‘Friday the 13th: The Game’ takes gamers back to Camp Crystal Lake

A new generation of gamers will get a chance to go back to Camp Crystal Lake in a new Friday the 13th: The Game video game that’s being crowdfunded on Kickstarter.

The third-person asymmetrical multiplayer slasher video game was originally called Slasher Vol. 1: Summer Camp but has been rebranded as a tie-in with the popular horror franchise. The game will allow one player to be Jason Voorhees while the remaining seven players are camp counselors trying to survive the night.

You can check out the official announcement trailer below and click here for the Kickstarter page. When it releases, it will be the first Friday the 13th video game since the one released in 1989 for Nintendo.
