Giant Monopoly board helps raise funds for summer camp

A World Record attempt to make the largest Monopoly game board in Suisun City, California over the weekend helped raised money for summer camp.

Supporters of the Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Center built a 3,721-square-foot Monopoly board to celebrate the center’s third anniversary over the weekend and collected donations for a camp scholarship fund from the estimated 2,000 people who came out to participate.

The previous certified Guinness World Record for Monopoly game board was 2,422 square feet.
