Golden Corral Expands Camp Corral

American family-style restaurant chain Golden Corral has announced the expansion of Camp Corral, its summer camp for children of wounded or disabled military veterans.

In the summer of 2012, Golden Corral will send 1,800 children from military families to a week-long camp free of charge (parents are only responsible for transportation to and from camp). There are now nine Camp Corral sites in eight states across the country – one each in Ohio, Texas, Kansas, Florida, North Carolina, Virginia, Georgia and two in Colorado.

The camps provide kids with a traditional overnight summer camp experience with activities like canoeing, swimming, arts and crafts, target sports, horseback riding and other camping activities in the great outdoors.
