Greenwood, the musical

The New York Musical Theatre Festival is underway and one of the shows being presented this year tells the story of three summer camp friends who reunite through social media and attempt to reclaim their pasts back at an anniversary celebration at Greenwood, the summer performing arts camp where they first met.

Based on the real-life performing arts camp in New York where creators Adam Lebow and Tor Hyams attended – French Woods Festival of the Performing Arts, not the music camp that goes by the name Greenwood – the musical stars the original Annie Andrea McCardle and her daughter, Alexi Kalahoff among others.

For more information and to listen to some of the songs from the show, which has sold out all but one of its festival shows through Oct. 16, visit www.greenwoodthemusical.com. To watch an interview with Andrea McCardle in which she talks in-depth about the show, click HERE.
