Hillary Clinton thinks Nation’s leaders could benefit from ‘camps for adults’

Hillary Clinton told a crowd of about 3,000 camp professionals in Atlantic City on Thursday that America’s leaders could learn a thing or two from summer camp.

“The red cabin and the blue cabin have to come together,” she was quoted saying during her speech at the American Camp Association of New York and New Jersey’s Tri-State Camp Conference.

The timing of the speech and how much the organization spent to have her as the keynote – her typical fee is $200,000, but the fee for this event has not been disclosed – has raised questions but there’s little doubt that her appearance has raised the profile of the event and the camping industry at one of its largest gatherings.

Clinton spent an hour on stage sharing prepared remarks and responding to interview questions from a moderator, according to a Philly.com article.

“I think we have a fun deficit in American,” she was quoted saying.
