Homer makes s’mores on the stove in The Simpsons

Homer Simpson gets hypnotized into believing he’s a 10-year-old boy so naturally he tries to make s’mores for breakfast on the “Bart’s New Friend” episode of The Simpsons (Season 26, Episode 11).

Homer and family go to the circus in the episode, where they encounter Sven Golly the “Master Hypnotist.” Homer ends up getting roped into being hypnotized and isn’t snapped out of it because the police come to arrest Sven for “hypnotizing the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame into inducting Kiss.”

Returning home, the 10-year-old Homer makes s’mores on the stove for breakfast and goes to school with Bart.

The episode was based on a spec script Judd Apatow wrote for the show’s first season in 1989 and features some clever references to Apatow’s other properties like Freaks and Geeks, Drillbit Taylor, Funny People and 40-Year-Old Virgin.
