Joaquin Phoenix producing LGBT summer camp documentary

Actor Joaquin Phoenix and The River Phoenix Center for Peacebuilding are getting behind a documentary project that will follow a group of LGBT teens as they head off to a summer camp called Camp More.

Phoenix makes a pitch for the $40,000 IndieGoGo campaign for the film in a video that details the project, which has been given the unfortunately generic title Camp: The Documentary. In addition to Phoenix’s late brother’s foundation, the project is sponsored by the organization Be More Heroic.
