John Slattery is a visting theater director in ‘Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp’

Mad Men star John Slattery’s character in the upcoming eight-episode Netflix series Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp is a theater director who comes to Camp Firewood to direct a camp production.

Slattery revealed the detail about his character Claude Dumet in an interview with TV Line.

He also shared some details about the production, which involved most of the stars of the original 2001 movie and many more.

“We were literally shooting two-person scenes that only one person was in, so you’d go back two weeks later and shoot the other half,” he said.
