Keebler S’mores Sandwich Cookies

The Keebler elves’ latest creation offers a twist on the summer camp campfire treat. Offered in original and peanut butter, the Keebler cookies are more or less your standard sandwich cookies with coated with chocolate.

The original are the most reminiscent of actual s’mores since the taste of marshmallow is pretty strong. The peanut butter taste like basic peanut butter sandwich cookies coated with chocolate. That’s not such a bad thing, but it’s still not clear to me why they are being marketed as s’mores when they don’t taste anything like a s’more.

Both are on the dry and non-messy side for a product named after the ooey gooey campfire treat, but I found that dipping them in milk (Almond milk in my case) made them quite tasty and less of a disappointment.
