Killer chimps at summer camp? Horror-comedy in the works


In an interview about his latest film, a dark horror-comedy called Eddie the Sleepwalking Cannibal, filmmaker Boris Rodriguez mentioned that his next project will involve scientifically-mutated chimpanzees and unsuspecting teenagers at a summer camp.

“I am definitely doing another horror film, especially in the dark comedy vein,” Rodriguez told Dread Central. “Horror fans are the most generous, supportive and enthusiastic moviegoers out there and for that reason alone I want to tackle another horror-comedy. I’m working with a writer on a killer chimp movie; it’s about laboratory surviving chimpanzees who brutalize and murder unsuspecting teenagers at a summer camp. It’s hilarious going to be hilarious (laughs)!”
