Lone Bellow’s Zach Williams met wife at summer camp

Lone Bellow lead singer Zach Williams first met his wife at summer camp when he was 12.

Williams shared this anecdote in talking about a new video for the song “Fake Roses,” an ode to his mother-in-law, in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.

“I met my wife at summer camp when we were twelve and I finally got up the nerve to come over for dinner one night, like three years later [laughs],” he said in the interview.

Williams has a testimonial on the website for the Andrews, North Carolina-based Snowbird Wilderness Outfitters, which operates 10 week-long wilderness camps in the summer. The video for “Fake Roses” – which stars actress Virginia Madsen – is below.
