Mad Men’s John Slattery and others join Wet Hot American Summer

Mad Men‘s John Slattery, Saturday Night and Trophy Wife alumna Michaela Watkins and the actor who portrayed Kim Jong-un in The Interview are among the cast members joining the original movie’s star-studded cast in the Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp Netflix series.

According to Deadline, Slattery, Watkins and Randall Park, along with Jayma Mays, Lake Bell, Paul Scheer, Rob Huebel and Richard Schiff will fill out the cast of the eight-episode series, which was reportedly shooting on location today at Calamigos Ranch in Malibu, California.

Original cast members Amy Poehler, Bradley Cooper, Paul Rudd and several others have reportedly signed on to revisit the fictional Camp Firewood from the cult 2001 movie that flopped at the box office but gained a cult following as many of the actors went on to become household names. Director David Wain will also reportedly be appearing in the film along with writer and co-creator Michael Showalter.
