‘Make A Wish’ star Bobby Breen dies at age 87

Bobby Breen, the child crooner who starred in the 1937 summer camp movie Make A Wish, died last week at the age of 87.

Breen was just nine years old when he starred in the film as Chip Winters, who befriends a composer played by Basil Rathbone while away at Birchlake Camp for Boys in Maine and tries to play matchmaker with his widowed mother.

Make A Wish was one of nine films Breen appeared in as a child actor from 1936 to 1942.
