Norrie references ‘The Hunger Games’ and summer camp in ‘Under the Dome’

Norrie (Mackenzie Lintz) finds a bow and references The Hunger Games and her time at summer camp in the “Redux” episode of Under the Dome (Season 3, Episode 3).

Norrie finds the bow when she and Hunter (Max Ehrich) go exploring in a house hoping to find a stockpile of Girl Scout cookies.

“Before there was Katniss there was me at summer camp,” she says to Hunter while holding up the bow. “No TV, no boys, just singing and swimming and sports.”

“Camp sounds a lot like a sorority with less beer pong,” Hunter says.

Norrie was on her way to camp with her moms when she got stuck under the dome in Chester’s Mills in Season 1. The camp, known as Second Horizons, is described as a camp for troubled teens. Katniss Everdeen is the skilled archer and main character of The Hunger Games books and movies. She’s played by Jennifer Lawrence in the movies.
