NYC eatery serves up s’mores grilled cheese

New York City eatery Amused is celebrating National Grilled Cheese Day on April 12 by donating 100 percent of the proceeds from a S’mores Grilled Cheese to charity.

Chef and co-owner Stella Ballarina’s S’mores Grilled Cheese is described in The Daily Meal as “a playful marriage of sweet and savory flavors. Instead of marshmallow, the chef layers mascarpone cheese and Nutella between pieces of toasted rustic bread, all of which is then sprinkled with graham cracker dust.”

Proceeds from sales of the sandwich on April 12 will go to the No Kid Hungry campaign.
