Parents question Hooters sponsoring scout camp

Parents in Denver are reportedly perturbed that a local Hooters restaurant sponsored and sent some of its staff to volunteer at their boys’ cub scout camp.

In a story that is begging to be sensationalized by local media, three Hooters girls volunteered at a three-day crafting camp in late June where, according to news reports, kids made wooden helicopters and birdhouses. Parents like one who called the organizations polar opposites were surprised and upset when photos were posted online of the Hooters girls with the young campers.
