Pilot of ‘Camp Abercorn’ series released on Vimeo

The crowd-funded pilot episode of dramatic comedy series Camp Abercorn is now available on demand on Vimeo.

Camp Abercorn tells the story of the staff of a Compass Guides of America summer camp whose camp director has been dismissed for being gay and the ways they cope with a new director with an authoritative military background.

It stars Brad Leland of Friday Night Lights fame and was directed by Eagle Scout Jeffrey Simon. The pilot debuted at the New York Television Festival in October and was released to supporters last month.

“We are working hard towards getting the rest of the season made, but our intention of this public release is to garner support and show that there is an audience out there for Camp Abercorn,” the producers wrote in an email announcing the public launch.

You can stream the pilot for $1.99 with Vimeo On Demand.
