Fictional Jewish camp t-shirt seen in ‘Raising Hope’

Raising Hope wrapped up its third season with a two-part episode last week called “Burt-Mitzvah.” The first part charts odd but highly entertaining musical territory for the Fox comedy. In the episode, Burt Chance learns for the first time that he is Jewish and begins exploring the faith and going through the process of a Bar Mitzvah with the help of musical numbers.

The opening number at a Kosher deli kicks off Burt’s faith journey and includes a young deli employee sporting a blue and white summer camp shirt with a star of David logo.

The shirt is for the fictional Camp Shlomo (schlomo mean’s God’s peace in Hebrew).
