Scarlett Johansson still bitter about not getting ‘The Parent Trap’ part

It’s been 20 years since Scarlett Johansson missed out on the chance to play twins reunited at Camp Walden in the 1998 remake of the Disney classic The Parent Trap.

And apparently she’s still not over it.

“I saw Jumanji. I liked it. I wasn’t bitter enough then, now I’m bitter. [When it came to The Parent Trap, I started to get bitter … it was hard for me…,’ she said in a recent interview while doing press for her film Ghost in the Shell.

Lindsay Lohan ended up landing the part, playing Hallie Parker and Annie James, and given what’s happened to Lohan and her career, it might not be such a bad thing for the A-list Johansson to have missed out.

Johannson may not have gotten to go to the fictional Camp Walden but she did go to summer camp in real life.
