‘Seven Summers: A camp story for grown-ups’ on Kindle

sevensummerscoverSeven Summers: A camp story for grown-ups tells the story of a group of campers at the fictional Camp Wildflower in the late ’70s and a bully camper who goes too far with one of his shy cabinmates.

It’s a quick and entertaining read that does a good job of capturing the struggle that often happens in camp cabins between the tough outspoken bullies, the shy easy to pick on campers and the counselors who have to manage it all.

The official description:

What happens when the nerdiest kid in the cabin fights back? Find out when the boy they call Teeth faces the dreaded ‘flying wedgie’ and turns the tables on his nemesis – a ten-year-old bully and his pre-pubescent cronies.

The short story, which is a work of fiction, is available on Amazon and was written by Jeff Leisawitz, an author, musician and filmmaker who attended camp as a camper and counselor.
