S’mores World Record Broken in Colorado

A startup that makes homemade chocolate-chip-stuffed marshmallows staged the largest group of people to simultaneously make s’mores on Colorado Saturday.

The three co-founders of Fort Collins Specialty Foods and Stuff’n Mallows organized the event in a parking lot of their alma mater, Colorado State University and got 404 people to show up and make s’mores.

Proceeds from the event – each participate paid $5 – will be donated to KOA Cares Camps for kids with cancer.

The previous Guinness World Record was 250. The approval process to certify the record and make it official will take about six months.
