Someone Cry For the Children (1981)

Someone Cry For the Children is a feature-length documentary about the gruesome murders in 1977 of three young girls at the Camp Scott Girl Scout camp in Oklahoma and the subsequent investigation and trial of Gene Leroy Hart. Hard to watch at times because of the details of the case that make most horror movies set at summer camp seem tame, the film features narration by Johnny Cash.

Still officially an unsolved murder, the murders were back in the news in July because ex-con John Russell Penn is making a movie he claims will reveal the real murderer.
