Stay Puft Marshmallow Man

For many who attended, summer camp can conjure up a lot of positive memories. For Ray Stantz (Dan Akroyd) in the 1984 comedy Ghostbusters, the fond memory of roasting Stay Puft marshmallows by the fire at Camp Wauconda conjured up one of the most iconic villains in cinema history – the fiercely large and extremely sticky Stay Puft Marshmallow Man.

What are some of your favorite summer camp memories?

  1. I would have to agree with Ray. Cooking anything over a campfire reminds so many of us of camp. For me it’s the one thing that HAS to be a part of any camp or camping trip. Cooking over a fire, singing at a bonfire, warming yourself early in the morning while getting the fire coals ready for breakfast, and then smelling the fire on your clothes while you unpack. That’s camp!
