Summer Camp Showdown

Cabela’s Adventure Camp isn’t the only summer camp-themed video game coming out this fall. Majesco Entertainment’s Summer Camp Showdown is also due out for the Nintendo Wii and this one sounds a little more like the real thing.

In addition to traditional outdoor activities like archery, canoe racing, dodgeball, water balloon fights and eating contests, Summer Camp Showdown includes 24 pranks you can pull on your opponents, 19 arts and crafts projects, photography and more.

Here’s the description for the game:

When their parents are away, the kids will play! Go head-to-head to see who rules and who drools in Summer Camp Showdown, an outdoor adventure set against a summer camp backdrop. Choose your allegiance as the Boys’ Cabin faces off against the Girls’ Cabin in ongoing pranks, competitive games and arts & crafts. Let the drama and hilarious hijinks begin!

The official release date for the video game has yet to be announced. Click HERE to see more screenshots from the game.

What do you think? Would you rather play Summer Camp Showdown or Cabela’s Adventure Camp? Or are summer camp-themed video games just a bad idea altogether?
