Support Camp Sunshine on National Flip Flop Day

This Friday, June 17, is Tropical Smoothie Cafe’s National Flip Flop Day, which means if you wear your flip flops to a Tropical Smoothie Cafe you’ll be able to get a free smoothie (while supplies last).

Sounds great right? But what does this have to do with summer camp? Well, besides the fact that flip flops aren’t always a good idea at camp (for swimming and showering, yes, but no for nature hikes and running around in the woods games) Tropical Smoothie Cafe uses National Flip Flop day to highlight its charity, Camp Sunshine. Camp Sunshine is a camp in Maine specifically designed for children with life-threatening illnesses.
