The New Woody Woodpecker Show – Camp Buzzard

With news that a Woody Woodpecker feature is in development by the makers of Despicable Me and Hop, I figured it was a good time to share this minisode from the more recent Woody Woodpecker cartoon, The New Woody Woodpecker Show, that ran on FOX from 1999-2002.

In the sixth episode from the first season, Woody’s nephew and niece Knothead and Splinter beg him to send them to a $300-a-week Space Camp, but Woody tells them he can’t afford to send them because he only has $45 to his name.

Overhearing this, Buzz Buzzard swoops in dressed as a camp counselor and offers a special two-for-one deal for them to attend Camp Buzzard. Buzzard figures it will be an easy $45 he’ll be able to use to sneak off to Bora Bora but Knockhead and Splinter have other ideas.
