‘The Safety Pin’ ebook sale supporting Folds of Honor

The ebook version of the first book of a new children’s series based on true stories from a summer camp the author attended as a kid in Pennsylvania is on sale for a limited time to raise money for a cause that provides scholarships and assistance to families of soldiers killed or disabled in service.

The book, written by Elliot Sloyer and based on his time at the now closed Camp Massad and illustrated by Vic Guiza, tells a funny story about a camper and a safety pin. Sloyer, who has been telling camp stories to kids for years, raised money for the book project on Kickstarter and has plans to release additional titles in the Summer Camp Stories series.

The ebook usually sells for $6.99 but is $1.99 through Wednesday, June 25. Click here to buy the book now on Amazon.
