‘The Treehouse Guys’ show on DIY Network features Sunshine Campus build

DIY Network reality show The Treehouse Guys featured a build they did of an all-access treehouse at the Sunshine Campus summer camp in New York on an episode that aired for the first time last week.

The camp, run by the Rochester Rotary, is for young people with disabilities so the treehouse had to be designed to be ADA compliant and accessible for all. The episode shows The Treehouse Guys, a Vermont-based building company, constructing the house from start to finish, fighting the cold upstate New York cold and snow.

“Words can’t explain how much I love this,” said Emma, a camper at the camp, when she got to see the completed tree house for the first time.

“Sunshine Campus Treehouse” is the 7th episode in Season 1 of the show.
