Wall, the Journey Up

Wall, the Journey Up is a documentary film that tells the story of Steve Wampler’s heroic attempt to be the first person with cerebral palsy to climb El Capitan in Yosemite National Park, a vertical face that’s more than twice the height of the Empire State Building.

Steve imagined his journey would capture the attention of America and help raise money for the summer camp he runs with his wife for children with disabilities.

Through his foundation, Wampler gives children with physical disabilities the kinds of outdoor wilderness experiences Steve was fortunate to have as a child at Camp Nejedly, which is located in the remote area of the high Sierras north of Lake Tahoe.

You can learn more about the camp HERE. You can find out more information about the film on the Wall, the Journey Up Facebook page.
