Washington Redskins teammates first met at summer camp as kids

Washington Redskins defensive linemen Terrance Knighton and Chris Baker first met when they were kids at summer camp.

Knighton, aka “Pot Roast” and Baker played high school football together in Connecticut but their friendship dates back well before their teenage years when they were much smaller than their nearly 700 pounds of total weight.

In a recent interview with Washington Times, Knighton said he’s known Baker since they were six years old.

“We hung out a lot because we went to the same summer camp,” Knighton said. “We didn’t hang out too much sports-wise because I played football and he always played basketball.”

Baker has played in Washington since 2011 and Knighton joined the team this season.
