YouTube stars hosting camps in three states this summer

Digital media stars who count their subscribers on YouTube by the millions are getting together to offer a series of summer camp programs under the banner Camp17.

The camps include Camp Aim with Meghan Rienks (2.1 million subscribers) being held May 27-30 in Running Springs, CA, #BestCampEver with Bethany Mota (9.8 million subscribers) and Tyler Oakley (7.9 million subscribers) in Torrington, Conn. August 21-27 and Creator Camp with Connor Franta (5.2 million subscribers) in Mukwanago, Wisc. August 22-26.

Camp17’s vision, according to its website, is “to provide one-of-a-kind camp experiences where fans interact with their favorite digital influencers in a fun and safe environment that nurtures authenticity, personal growth, and the creation of friendships and memories that last a lifetime.” The organization was founded in partnership with Mills Entertainment and is a member of the American Camp Association.
